Canted Coil Spring

Canted Coil Spring has a very unique oval shape cross section that allows the spring to have a very flat spring force curve in a specific working deflection range.

The design of the canted coil spring helps to compensate surface irregularities and dimensional variations.
The spring loads can also be customized by adjusting wire diameter, coil height, coil width and spacing.
Avaliable material:302 Stainless Steel, Hastelloy C276, Elgiloy or equivalent, 316 Stainless Steel, Beryllium Copper (BeCu)

Application Range

Spring energized seals (spring energizer): typically used in dynamic with light to medium load application; friction sensitive applications.
Suitable for wide tolerance and glands.
Electricity conductivity purposes
EMI shielding function
Mechanical fastening: locking, latching, and holding.
